1 The offered product by the firm must be included in their product list uploaded on Railway Board website. If any firm offers a product which is not available in the Railway Board approved product list, that offer will be liable to be rejected. If firm is not in approved list of RB than it to be purchased from firms which are approved by PCMD for purchase as per DPP. No Yes Allowed (Optional) 2 The medicines and drugs are reserved to be purchased from firms registered with Railway Board and manufacturing unit of the offered product should be inspected and passed fit by Railway Board. If firm is not in approved list of RB than it to be purchased from firms which are approved by PCMD for purchase as per DPP. However, in case of medical stores other than medicines such as rubber goods, consumables, implants and appliance etc. not covered under the new drug policy guidelines issued by Railway Board, the purchaser reserve its right to purchase it from the firms registered with NWR Jaipur, who are either manufacturing, marketing or even distributing agency for the product offered. In such cases the inspection of manufacturing unit is not mandatory. No No Not Allowed 3 Railways shall purchase this item from Pharma CPSEs and their subsidiaries where the Govt. of India owns 51 percent share or above subject to their meeting good manufacturing practice norms as per Schedule M of drugs and cosmetic rules. No No Not Allowed 4 In case Pharma CPSEs and their subsidiaries fail to supply/quote for the medicines, the procuring entity would be at liberty to make purchase from other manufacturers. If the Pharma CPSEs or their subsidiaries fail to perform as per P.O., they would also be subject to payment of liquidated damages or any other penalty as per IRS conditions of contract. No No Not Allowed 29/05/2024 11:305 The eligibility criteria stated/mentioned at Sr. No. 3 & 4, will only be applicable if the tendered items are available in the list of medicines reserved for procurement from Pharma CPSEs, which is in line with the guidelines issued by Railway Board regarding implementation of Pharmaceuticals Preferential Purchase policy over Indian Railways.
